Erler Lab, August 2016
Sadly, we are saying a big farewell to Dr Lara Perryman, who is leaving us today after four years in the Erler lab.
Lara joined us in 2012 to complete her PhD, after gaining years of research experience working with Prof Chris Jones at the ICR. She finished her PhD last year, and continued working in our group as a postdoctoral research assistant. Among her many findings, Lara’s research into brain cancer has revealed a novel mechanism of glioblastoma invasion. Her brilliant expertise and her invaluable contributions to everyone’s projects will be sorely missed.
Although we’re really sad to see Lara go, she’s returning to her native Australia to begin an exciting new chapter working at Pharmaxis.
Wishing you all the very best for the future Lara, and watch out for all the spiders and snakes down under!
